What can I expect to catch?

Lake Allatoona and Lake Lanier are excellent Spotted bass and Striped bass fisheries.  Other species available are Hybrid bass, Large Mouth bass, Bream, Bluegill, Crappie, and several varieties of Catfish. 

Lake Acworth hosts Spotted bass, Large Mouth bass, Bream, Bluegill, Crappie, and several varieties of Catfish.  No gas powered motors allowed on Lake Acworth

Lanier - Fishing  Targeting Striped Bass

    Half day trips  are four hours.  $150.00 for one and $75.00 for one additional person.

    Full day  trips are eight hours .   $225.00 for one and $100.00 for one additional person.

Lanier - SOT pleasure cruise

    Three hour tours are $100 per person with a limit of  four persons.  This is the trip to to determine if Sit On Top kayaks are for you.

Allatoona and Acworth - Fishing Targeting any of the following Lineside Bass (Allatoona Only), Large Mouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Crappie, Bluegill, and Catfish

    Half day trips  are four hours.  $125.00 for one and $75.00 for one additional person.

    Full day trips are eight hours .   $200.00 for one and $100.00 for one additional person.

Allatoona and Acworth - SOT pleasure cruise

    Three hour tours are $75  per person with a limit of  four persons.   This is a great opportunity to spot deer, turkey, coyotes, and large variety of other outdoor    creatures.

What to bring

    Kayaks and safety equipment in addition to tackle, bait, rod , reels, lures, and small dry bags for cameras and keys are provided.  A cooler with ice and water will be brought along. 

    You should bring sunscreen, insect repellant, polarized sunglasses, wading shoes (PLEASE NO FLIP FLOPS), cap or hat, personal medications and a valid Georgia fishing license.  You can purchase licenses at most bait and tackle retailers.  You can also purchase and print licenses online through the Georgia DNR website.
